Drouin Institute updates its Quebec records collection

Yesterday, the Institut généalogique Drouin announced updates to its Quebec Records Collection.

 1. LAFRANCE. Marriages for 1913 has now links to images. 14,700 new links.

2. Dictionnaire généalogique des familles québécoises de l’origine jusqu’à 1730 is now online (The Jetté book).

3. Gaston-Dupuis Fund. His personal archives have been scanned. Nearly 50,000 pages.

4. New section of personal archives. Two collections offered by Ruth Major Lapierre and Micheline Lanctôt (not the actress) with more than 600 images.

The majority of the Quebec Records Collection is available on a subscription basis, and if you want to give it a try, one month for $13 seems reasonable. Note that the online obituary collection is free and contains more than 1.3 million obituaries from across Canada, beginning in 1999.
