Programme of Convocation Week, Waterloo College, 1928. Laurier Archives.

To mark convocation week, Laurier Archives at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario has published online the university’s convocation programs, from 1923 to 2013. It is quite easy to search for ancestors’ names or browse the programs by year.

I was pretty sure none of my ancestors attended Laurier, but I typed in family surnames to confirm. An excerpt of the text appeared next to the thumbnail image of the document, making it easy to determine whether or not this was a relative — without having to open the document. I found no one, but it took only a few minutes to check.
