Lecture about wartime Montreal

This Tuesday, April 22, at 8:00 p.m., oral historian and author Patricia Burns will speak at the Sainte-Anne-du-Bout-de-l’Île Historical Society’s meeting. The title of her presentation is Wartime Montreal, At Home and Away. Ms. Burns is the author of Life on the Home Front, They Were So Young: Montrealers Remember World War II, and The Shamrock and the Shield: An Oral History of the Irish in Montreal.

The meeting takes place at the Fritz Community Centre, 20477 Lakeshore Road, Baie-d’Urfé, Quebec. For information, contact bruce.grainger@mcgill.ca or call 514-457-9167.
