Ontario’s Archives Awareness Week offers a day of free presentations

It is Archives Awareness Week and it is celebrated in partnership with the Archives Association of Ontario, the Ontario Genealogical Society, and York University’s Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections.

Today, April 7, is the last day to register for a day of free on-site presentations and a tour that take place on Thursday, April 10, at the Archives of Ontario.

There are at least three presentations that will interest genealogists, such as More than 100 Years of Collecting Photographs at the Archives of Ontario during which Archivist Nana Robinette will examine what photographic records are available at the Archives of Ontario; Accessing and Preserving Family Heirlooms: and Genealogical Research at the Archives of Ontario.
