Webinar for frugal genealogists

I have yet to figure out why many genealogists are so bloomin’ cheap, but we are. We spend days fretting about whether or not to pay $10 or $15 for a marriage record even though this could be the missing link in our research. In contrast, golfers rarely hesitate to pay for a round of golf or buy a dozen balls.

That is why the title of Thomas MacEntee’s upcoming webinar, 7 Habits of Highly Frugal Genealogists, is appropriately named, and it should draw a large crowd. If this webinar is anything like Mr. MacEntee’s earlier presentations, it will be excellent.

Presented by Legacy Family Tree, this free webinar takes place April 2, at 2:00 p.m., Eastern time. To watch live, you must register. The webinar will be available to watch for free for a few days afterward. After that, you must pay.

  1. Thanks Gail for the shout out – I appreciate it!

  2. Barbara Fowler says:

I am more than happy to pay for a record. The concern is, is it my family or just a similar name/names?
I will try to register. Thanks
