Filles du roi certificates still available

Last year marked the 350th anniversary of the arrival of the Filles du roi in Quebec, and the American-French Genealogical Society had been offering Daughters of the King certificates to those who could provide a straight-line ancestry chart to prove they are related to one of the Filles du roi. Because of overwhelming interest, the society has extended the deadline of its certificate program until July 4, 2014.

Details about applying for a certificate and associated costs are available on the society’s website.
